Applying for September 2019 - Sixth Form
Unfortunately, our closing date for September 2019 applications for Sixth Form programmes has now passed. We are still happy to consider late applications but cannot offer any guarantee that a place at College will become available. For the time being, any applications made will be kept in a ‘waiting list’ system.
We will contact you if we are able to progress towards an interview and possible offer of a place after enrolment has been completed in early September. We would advise that late applicants also seek opportunities at other local colleges to secure a place to study for September 2019.
Applying for September 2019 - Access to Higher Education
We have stopped our interview process briefly for the summer break. We will continue to interview Access students who meet the entry requirements in the week commencing 26th August 2019.
We will confirm a date and time for an interview via email so, please do look out for our response during the week commencing 19th August.
How to Apply
Our applications, interview and offer processes are easy to follow and we will provide you with support and advice along the way. We encourage students to attend open evenings and consider the options available to them, researching your course choices carefully.
Before you commit to your courses at enrolment in August 2019, we hold several events (for students and parents) to discuss your choices and give you the opportunity to change. Our careers advisers are available on each of these occasions.
IF YOU APPLY ONLINE
Please register and complete an online application. Your form will go straight to the Admissions Team and you will be contacted shortly.
IF YOU COMPLETE A PAPER APPLICATION FORM
Our paper application form can be found in our latest Prospectus or you can download it here. Please send it directly to our Admissions Coordinator, Natasha Hogan, at the College:
The deadline for applications for level 3 programmes is Thursday 28th February 2019. Students applying after this date will be placed on a waiting list and contacted if/when places become available.
Deadline for applications in the area of Special Educational Needs & Disabilities is Friday 29th March 2019. Any applications received after this date will be placed on a waiting list.
Deadline for applications for Access to Higher Education course is Thursday 29th August 2019.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
You will be invited to an ‘initial interview’ with an appropriate member of staff. This will cover your course choices, entry requirements, employability & enrichment opportunities, student finance & travel arrangements and information on the stages leading up to enrolment in late August 2019.
Interviews commence the week beginning 15th October 2018 and continue throughout the year, taking place between Monday to Thursday between 4.20pm and 5.45pm so you will not require time off from school. Parents are welcome to attend.
We look forward to welcoming you to one of our friendly and supportive interview sessions and to discussing your plans for your future at the College.
Please note: Students who will be over the age of 18 on 31st August 2019 are advised to enquire about the possibility of fees/loans at their initial interview.
If you need help at any stage of your application, please contact our Admissions Team in the first instance.
