A Levels in Digital Film, Architecture and Mathematics
Career aims: I intend on taking a few years out of education, giving me the opportunity to work and travel before committing to university to study Architecture, which is a four-year long course.
Not only had I seen the forward thinking and innovative decisions such as the iPad project, but it is the only college in the local area with a dedicated Architecture course. There are so many opportunities given to you at Portsmouth College, especially if you are More Able Programme. I have done many so far, including the Leadership Academy, You Speak and ‘A Place of Glorious Failure’ project, all of which will improve my CV and help when applying to universities.
A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics & Further Mathematics
Career aims: I will most likely to go to a Russell Group University to study a Science related degree such as Biotechnology or Biochemical Engineering.
I came to Portsmouth College because it provided a diverse environment in which I felt I could truly gain foothold in the world of independence and adulthood. I have found the lessons to be really engaging and interactive, that allows for us as students to evolve and mature in our studies.
A Levels / BTECs in Drama & Theatre Studies and Performing Arts
Career aims: I am planning on going to university to study Drama, with the hope of becoming a drama teacher in a local secondary school.
Drama and Performance has always been the pathway I wanted to follow and Portsmouth College has a dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff in this area that fully support the drive and motivation I have. The E6 Programme has allowed me to participate in Rock Challenge 2018 which was a great experience and team effort to represent the College at a national level.
