What is the Student Union?

The Student Union are responsible for representing students, raising issues affecting students and raising money for the college and charities. It is a project-based team allowing you to choose your own focus and organise various events and socials in-and-out of college. The roles require a commitment and you will need to meet at least one hour a week.

You can apply to be:

  • Vice-President
  • Treasurer
  • Communication Secretary
  • Social Secretary
  • Health and Wellbeing Officer
  • Education Officer
  • Second Year A Level Representative (Year 2 only)
  • Second Year Vocational Representative (Year 2 only)

What is the Independent Student Governor?

The Independent Student Governor attends Governor meetings and helps shape the direction and operation of the college. You will be able to represent students and bring student issues to discuss. The Governing Board are very friendly and welcoming and you will quickly feel part of the team.
