Course Description

Our qualifications will help you gain Chartered Management status. This is not only the ultimate management accolade, but will enhance your employability and earnings potential. Chartered Manager is the highest status that can be achieved in the management profession. Designed for aspiring, supervisory or first line managers.

This Level 5 Diploma is aimed at practising or aspiring managers and leaders who are typically accountable to a senior manager or a business owner.

A level 5 qualification requires academic rigor. The learner should be able to analyse, interpret and evaluate concepts and theories. There is a large written component which will require the learner to utilise academic writing convention and referencing. A level 5 qualification is the equivalent of studying to Foundation degree or HNC level. For those who have studied to A level or Level 4 Certificate should find a Level 5 an appropriate progression of learning.

The diploma gives you a fully comprehensive bank of skills and knowledge required to be a manager. However you must be working in a managerial/leadership role already.

Students can also create a bespoke course by opting for Awards and Certificates in the areas that are important for them to learn.

Assessment is through practical work assignments, which are relevant to your organisation.

  • Progression to enhance your professional status by upgrading your CMI membership to become a Chartered Manager.

Potential careers could be Operations Manager, Divisional Manager, Departmental Manager, Regional Manager or Specialist Manager.
