Ex-student, and local vegan baker, Rosie Newton returned to Portsmouth College this Tuesday to sell cakes in aid of her fundraising for Raleigh International and ICS.

On March 24th, students and staff joined forces for the biggest Red Nose Day celebration that the college has seen to date. Lead by the Student Union, the college managed to raise over £200 for this great cause, as well as bring extra joy to the Friday afternoon.

Portsmouth College Principal, Steve Frampton, has been awarded his MBE today during an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace. Mr Frampton, who was accompanied by his wife and two children, was presented his medal by none other than Her Majesty The Queen. People across the city and throughout the College have been delighted by the award.

Students, staff, friends and families joined Portsmouth College for an evening of celebration at the Annual Awards Evening which presented hundreds of certificates to staff, ex-students and a very popular man.

Each year Portsmouth College celebrates students who have recently left with a prestigious evening of celebration and reminiscing, looking back on how well students excelled whilst at the College.

Families and friends of award winners accompanied the students, as well as special guests MP Penny Mordaunt and MP Flick Drummond who joined the College Principal and Chair of Governors in presenting the awards to almost 100 students.

After being announced as the new Managing Director of Hewlett Packard Enterprise on his 40th birthday, Marc Waters visited Portsmouth College to speak about his entrepreneurial journey to almost 100 students in collaboration with the Unloc Enterprise Academy.

Students and staff filled the Studio Theatre at Portsmouth College today as leading innovator Marc Waters spoke to the young entrepreneurs as part of Unloc’s Enterprise Academy, just one of the courses on the five strand initiative that makes up the College’s E5 Programme.
