The course The course is run as series of workshops. During each session learners will take part in writing exercises to promote creativity. Learners will look to pose, poetry and non-fiction by established writers as a source of stimulation. Learners will be expected to bring copies of their own work for group discussion each week. During the course you are advised to read as widely as possible - reading feeds the writing. Keep your notebook with you at all times to jot down eavesdroppings or observations.
Who is the course for? The course is for anyone who is interested in exploring their creativity through writing.
Do I need previous experience or qualifications? The course is open to all, no previous experience or qualifications required.
How will I be assessed? There will be ongoing assessment carried out by the tutor throughout the duration of the course to meet needs of individual learners.
What will I gain/What can I do next? The course is aimed at those who want to do it for enjoyment. There is no formal qualification linked to this course.
